Opportunity Changes

We met with two potential clients and one integration partner who use Salesforce

Both clients mentioned that the ‘Opportunity’ object isn’t native (or even hardly used)to what most of our target accounts use (Force.com)

In all meetings, they suggested to build out all of the Opportunity-related in the Contact record

Managed Packages

One of the things we need to work on is how to package the app so the Salesforce work we’ve done can be distributed.

This will allow us to download the package, and update the contents as we continue to develop & iterate

There are two types of packages: First Generation & Second Generation

Second Generation will allow us to have greater control

Move anything related to the Kit to the Contact record

Kit Contents should be a separate tab in the Contact record

Remove the ‘Opportunity’ object from the B+B app

Enable Second-Generation Packaging
