Paginated Recipient View for Order Screen

Completed

Background Summary

In the current order screen, users have to scroll through a long list of recipients, which may lead to decreased efficiency and frustration. This issue becomes particularly problematic for users who need to manage a large number of recipients. By implementing a paginated view with customizable pagination options, we aim to enhance the user experience and optimize their workflow.

User Need/Problem

Users with a high number of recipients face difficulty in managing and navigating through the order screen. This can lead to increased time spent searching for specific recipients, reduced efficiency, and potential errors. The lack of pagination options forces users to rely on scrolling, which can be cumbersome and time-consuming.

Solution

To address this problem, we will implement a paginated view of recipients in the order screen. The paginated view will have options to display "10", "25", "50", "100", and "All" recipients per page, allowing users to choose the view that best suits their needs. The default paginated view will be set to "10" recipients per pagination.

The key features of this solution include:

Pagination options: Users can choose between "10", "25", "50", "100", and "All" recipients per page.

Default pagination: The default view will display "10" recipients per page. This will streamline the user experience for those who do not require a different setting or don’t have a lot of recipients

Page-based navigation: Users can easily navigate between pages (using the same experience/interface as User Management or Recipient Management) at the bottom of the order screen, reducing the need for scrolling.

Intuitive design: The pagination options will be presented in a dropdown menu, ensuring a clean and organized interface that doesn't overwhelm users with options.

Responsive design: The paginated view will be compatible with various screen sizes and devices, ensuring a seamless experience across platforms.

Post Mortem (Internal)

After launching the paginated recipient view for the order screen, we will closely monitor user feedback and engagement metrics to evaluate the success of the feature. We will look at the following indicators:

Time spent on the order screen: A decrease in time spent on the order screen would indicate that users are more efficiently managing their recipients.

User satisfaction: Surveys and feedback from users will help us gauge whether the new pagination options have improved their experience.

Pagination option usage: Tracking the frequency of usage for each pagination option will help us understand which options are most beneficial to users and potentially inform future enhancements.

Error rates: Comparing error rates before and after the feature launch will help us assess whether the paginated view has reduced the occurrence of mistakes in recipient management.

Based on these findings, we will iterate on the feature if necessary, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring the paginated recipient view continues to improve the user experience in the order screen.
